Doggy Parton? Dolly Parton & Celebrity Guests Present Special Featuring Adorable Pups
Dolly Parton is teaming up with CBS and some celebrity friends for a two-hour variety special for dog lovers. Parton and Jane Lynch will be co-hosting the event with runway correspondents Kelly Osbourne and Rachel Smith. Parton is promoting her new pet line, Doggy Parton, with a pup fashion show complete with some performances of Parton’s most iconic songs.
Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala features performances of “9 to 5,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Puppy Love” and “Jolene,” by Parton and country stars Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson, and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band. Celebs Iain Armitage, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Margaret Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Carson Kressley, Jim Nantz and Jessica Simpson are also set to appear.

Parton shared about the upcoming special, “I have hosted or co-hosted many shows throughout my career, but I have never been more excited about co-hosting a show than I am about being part of this pet gala! I love animals. I’ve got all kinds, and of course, I’ve always had little dogs around, and big ones! We’re going to have some of all kinds and colors on the show, and there is nothing more fun to me than when little animals do what they do best, and I’m looking forward to it! There is so much fun stuff, and I know all the animal lovers out there are going to love this show.”

Parton’s new dog line includes adorable outfits (including Dolly costumes!), collars and leashes, dog bowls, toys, and more. As one of those crazy dog moms who has already bought her dogs too many clothes and toys, it is hard to resist making a purchase. At least if I do end up caving, a portion of the profits goes to Willa B Farms animal rescue.
