‘Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock’ Season 2 Heading to Apple TV+
Fraggle Rock is coming back with some new stars and some new challenges! Apple TV+ recently released the trailer for the second season of Fraggle Rock: Back to The Rock. The show is set to return on March 29, 2024. Fraggle Rock was first created in 1983 by beloved puppeteer Jim Henson. Apple TV+ brought back the children’s show in 2022, leading to a lot of nostalgic memories from adults who watched the series as children who are now able to share the show with their children.
Actors Daveed Diggs, Ariana DeBose, Brett Goldstein, Catherine O’Hara, K-pop group aespa, and singer Adam Lambert will appear this season alongside the adorable puppets Gobo, Red, Boober, Monkey, Wembley, and Uncle Traveling Matt. This season, there are reportedly some changes coming to the Rock after a dust storm ruins their food supply. Some of the Fraggles must confront past issues and learn to celebrate their friendship. Of course, there will be lots of singing, dancing, and silliness as always.
The new season will have 13 episodes and feature some new songs produced by Harvey Mason Jr. In addition to the first season, Apple TV+ aired the Fraggle Rock Holiday Special in 2022, focusing on Jamdolin helping Wembley to make a special wish for the holidays and finding the true meaning of Christmas. The first season, the holiday special, the original series, and a few bonus specials including the season of Fraggle Rock: Rock On! are all currently streaming on Apple TV+.
Check out the trailer for season 2 and don’t forget to watch it on March 29! Are you excited about another season? Did you know there was a Fraggle Rock reboot on Apple TV+?
