Carol Burnett Hopes for a Date With One Famous Actor for Her 91st Birthday
Carol Burnett is gearing up for her 91st birthday celebrations. During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, she joked around about a potential birthday present. Co-host Mark Consuelos got the conversation going and admitted that he loves her stories and her sense of humor. He recalled a joke she made on a podcast when someone asked what she wanted to do that she’d never done before she turned 90. She responded, “George Clooney.”
Kelly Ripa asked if Clooney reached out to her but Burnett responded that she now has her sights set on an even younger man: Bradley Cooper. Ripa joked, “Everyone knows that this is the official morning show of Bradley Cooper. He loves this show. Brad? Give Carol a call, and you know which phone to use.”
Burnett added, “I don’t think it’ll work with my husband.” Burnett has been married to Brian Miller for over 20 years. This is her third marriage. She was married to her college sweetheart Don Saroyan for a few years in the ’50s and ’60s. She went on to marry television producer Joe Hamilton in 1963 and he produced The Carol Burnett Show. They had three daughters together. Their oldest daughter, Carrie sadly passed away in 2002.
In 2001, Burnett married Miller, the principal drummer for the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Meanwhile, Cooper doesn’t seem single either. He has been linked to model Gigi Hadid since last year but they have yet to confirm their relationship.
Happy early birthday, Carol! Perhaps Bradley Cooper will take her out for a platonic birthday date after all. Despite turning 91, she isn’t slowing down. She stars in the new series Palm Royale on Apple TV+. She said about continuing to work, “I always approach it as something new that I’ve never done before, so I’m just happy to be working and that I’ve got all my parts. I have my hips and my knees — and I think my brain — so as long as I can keep that up and work, then I want to work.”
