‘Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’ Coming in 2024 With Behind-The-Scenes Footage
A new documentary about Bruce Springsteen and his iconic band called Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band is coming soon. Hulu and Disney+ announced that it will premiere on Oct. 25, 2024 and will showcase behind-the-scenes footage from their 2023-2024 world tour. The documentary promises that fans will feel like a fly on the wall of the band’s rehearsals, performances and even backstage moments.
Thom Zimny, a longtime collaborator of Springsteen and other musicians, directed the film. It follows Springsteen and his band as they prep for the massive tour, to rehearsals and performances all over the world. Springsteen and the band members will also share more about how they feel about touring and being in the band for so many years.
The press release shares, “These conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s setlist – interspersed with rare archival clips of The E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community. In this way, it serves as an essential and never-before-seen chapter in an autobiographical series spanning Springsteen’s memoir ‘Born to Run,’ ‘Springsteen on Broadway,’ and the films ‘Western Stars’ and ‘Letter to You.'”
Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are not done performing just yet. While they are currently on break from tour, they will resume shows in Europe and North America very soon. The tour brings fans three-plus hours of music and rare song performances along with some surprise guests.
Road Diary premieres on Hulu and Disney+ on October 25, 2024. Will you be watching? Let us know if you’ve ever been to one of Springsteen’s iconic shows!
