Rare Princess Diana Pieces (Including Handwritten Letters You’ll Want to See to Believe) Are Going Up For Auction
If you’ve ever wanted to dress exactly like the irreplaceable Princess Diana, now is your chance. Julien’s Auctions is gearing up for a new auction called Princess Diana’s Elegance & a Royal Collection. It will feature historic royal items celebrating the late Princess of Wales. The live and online auction will begin on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
Letters from Princess Diana to one of her housekeepers Maud Pendrey, signed Christmas and New Year cards, beautiful gowns, shoes, purses and other items from her collection are all offered in the auction. Many of the letters include some of her thoughts on marriage and motherhood, with one saying, “William has brought us such happiness and contentment and consequently I cannot wait for masses more.”
