Dolly Parton is At It Again With a New Musical & Collection of Wines

Dolly Parton may be the busiest country music queen of all time. Between giving back to the community, having a whole theme park, releasing new music and a plethora of other commitments, she is now coming out with a collection of wine and a musical. She announced “Dolly Wines,” starting with a reasonably priced Chardonnay, complete with butterfly-adorned packaging. While she is starting with the $14.99 Chardonnay, a Rosé and a Prosecco could be coming soon.
If you’re not a wine lover but more of a fan of Parton’s music and life story, she has great news for you as well. A new musical called Hello, I’m Dolly is in the works and will premiere on Broadway in 2026. The musical’s name references her debut album, released in 1967.

Parton shared about the new endeavor, “I’ve been writing my life story as a Broadway musical for several years and I’m proud to announce we are finally developing ‘Hello, I’m Dolly – An Original Musical’ for the Broadway stage I’ve written many original songs for the show and included all your favorites in it as well. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll clap, you’ll stomp, it truly is a Grand Ol’ Opera. Pun and fun intended.”

Parton was previously involved in the musical version of the film 9 to 5, in which she starred with Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, and the late Dabney Coleman in 1980. A remake is now in the works and Parton has expressed interest in being involved. My question is, how does she find the time for all of this? Which are you more excited about, the musical or the wine?
