‘Charlie’s Angels’ Star Cheryl Ladd Hoping to Release Tell-All Book
Cheryl Ladd wants to get real about her time in Hollywood. The 72-year-old is best known for playing Kris Munroe in Charlie’s Angels but has continued to work steadily over the years, most recently seen in the 2021 film A Cowgirl’s Song. While he has written a book about golf called Token Chick: A Woman’s Guide to Golfing with the Boys, she admitted that she hopes to write an autobiography to share what she has learned from her decades in show business.
Ladd revealed, “I’m thinking about doing a sort of autobiography about the big turning points in my life and what I’ve learned. Everyone has ups and downs, and I think other people need to hear that. I think we should be real when we talk about our heartbreaks and growing pains.”
Ladd said that some of her growing pains surrounded being a working mother. She explained, “Four years of Charlie’s Angels with 28 episodes a season. Then on my hiatus, supposedly my rest time, I was doing movies of the week and variety shows. I had a 2-year-old daughter and I was like a spinning clock. I missed so many times with my daughter.”
Her daughter, Jordan Ladd is now 49 years old and has an acting career of her own, best known for horror movies including Grindhouse: Death Proof and Cabin Fever. Her father is actor David Ladd, who was married to Cheryl from 1973 until 1980.
As of now, there is nothing concrete said about the release of her autobiography but we certainly hope that one is in the works! Let us know in the comments if you would read Ladd’s autobiography and we will keep you up to date if any news comes out surrounding it.
