Guitar icon Jeff Beck passed away last year at the age of 78 from bacterial meningitis. His family confirmed his death with a statement that read: “On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.”

Now, it has been confirmed that Beck left his entire £28 million fortune (almost $36 million in USD) to his widow Sandra, including his large estate. Beck and his wife wed in 2005, and he had no children. He reportedly signed a will in 2017 and left instructions for Sandra on how to inherit everything he left behind.

Many of his famous friends and other rock icons including Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood came to pay tribute to the star, best known for being a part of the band the Yardbirds. In more recent years, he collaborated with actor Johnny Depp, and the two became so close that Depp was reportedly at his bedside during his final days.
