Chevy Chase & Christie Brinkley Reunite Over 40 Years After ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’

It seems as though Chevy Chase and Christie Brinkley had their very own little vacation together recently. The duo starred in the 1983 comedy National Lampoon’s Vacation. Chase played Clark Griswold, a married man with two kids who decides to take his family on a trip to a fictional amusement park called Wally World. Of course, things go awry on their road trip and Brinkley’s character plays a huge part in that.

Brinkley plays a beautiful and mysterious woman that Griswold keeps seeing on the road, and ultimately they meet up at the hotel. She also appeared in the sequel Vegas Vacation. Now, 41 years after the film debuted, the duo reunited with a series of snaps on social media.

Brinkley shared the photos of herself and Chase smiling in a car and wrote, “Vacation is always over too soon! 🏎️ @chevychase” While they did not share the reason for the fun reunion, fans couldn’t help but eat up the photos in the comments section.

Many people commented about how cute they looked together while others reminisced about the film, calling it one of the best movies ever. However, this isn’t their first reunion. It seems as though the pair stays in touch, as they posted a fun TikTok video last year, also featuring Vacation star Beverly D’Angelo, who plays Griswold’s wife Ellen in the film.
