Chillax! ’90s Con is Coming This Weekend to Daytona
Grab your neon leggings or your grunge-era flannel and get ready to travel back in time to the 1990s! If you’re a fan of this decade, this weekend’s ’90s Con is a truly can’t-miss event. Credited as the “Raddest celebration this side of the Millenium,” the conventions promises that fans will have a chance to meet their favorite ’90s celebs, relieve their youth, cosplay as a ’90s kid, visit some fun vendors and attend lively dance parties. If you want to cement your love of the ’90s forever, there will even be tattoo artists on deck to give you some fresh ink.
This year, there will be tons of fun celebrations but ’90s Con is also making sure to pay tribute to the late Shannen Doherty who sadly passed away before she could attend this year. To commemorate Doherty, there will be a tribute to her on Saturday featuring some of her former co-stars and surely there will not be a dry eye in the house. The tribute will be a live recording of The House of Halliwell / A Charmed Rewatch Podcast.

Later on Saturday, there will be a fun ’90s Dance Party featuring performances by O-Town and En Vogue‘s Rhona Bennett plus DJs to pump up the jams. The only thing that can make it even better is the picturesque setting and weather of Daytona, Florida.

Of course, the highlights of the event are the panels featuring celebrity guests. While Saturday is the big day featuring panels of celebs from shows such as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melrose Place, Full House, Beverly Hills, 90210 and more, Friday and Sunday also have some fun panels. Jaleel White, who famously portrayed Urkel on Family Matters, makes his debut at the convention this year. Plus, there’s a special Mouseketeer reunion.

If there is a celebrity that you want to meet, photo ops and autograph signings are available as well. ’90s Con will be at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida on September 13-15, 2024 and you can still get last-minute tickets now. Even if you can’t attend, there is an option to purchase autographs from celebrities at the event and have them shipped to your home.
