Clint Eastwood has quite a large clan, eight children to be exact, and several of them have followed in his footsteps to have their own entertainment careers. His daughter Kimber Lynn Eastwood (with ex Roxanne Tunis) became a professional makeup artist. She works on many television shows and movies, but one of her favorite sets to go to is the game show Wheel of Fortune due to some nice family memories.

Kimber has been working as a makeup artist on Wheel of Fortune for almost two decades. She said that it was extra special to get the gig because she used to watch it with her family every night. She explained, “My grandmother was very traditional from Scranton, Pennsylvania. We watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! every night together with my mom and my aunts. [My dad] knows that I’ve been on the show, and when we talk, I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m going to Wheel this week.’ He’s been very supportive of my career.”

Before she sparked a career as a makeup artist, she hoped to follow more closely in her parent’s footsteps. She said she studied acting for many years and worked nights as a waitress all while being a single mom. At one point, she went to makeup school and mentioned it to a customer at the restaurant she was working at. Turns out, he is now her current boss at Wheel of Fortune, who ended up giving her a chance.

Kimber continued, “I just love doing [makeup for] the contestants. They are just so happy and appreciative and just so happy to be there, you know, and excited. And the energy is just really, just really fun. I try to talk with them and try to calm them down and reassure them. The contestant department is amazing what they do with them. They’re there for about a good five solid hours before they go onstage. So, we just try to make them as comfortable as possible, reassure them that they’re going to look beautiful onstage.”

Kimber added that former host Pat Sajak and Vanna White are “the kindest and most humble people that you could ever wish to work for.” She noted that new host Ryan Seacrest has stepped into the gig wonderfully, “like he’s been doing it 100 years.”
