That cold chill you just felt crawl up your spine wasn’t a draft from an open window … it was the announcement that Svengoolie will return this October with his third annual Svengoolie’s Halloween BOO-nanza, a monthlong celebration of all things creepy and classic on MeTV!

This year, Svengoolie and crew will be celebrating the season with two back-to-back spooky films every Saturday night on Svengoolie Classic Horror & Sci-Fi Movie, with movies like Son of Frankenstein, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, Fiend Without a Face, House of Wax and Invaders From Mars, plus the debut of two new Jim Henson films into the Svengoolie vault: Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal!

But you’ll want to do more than just keep your Saturday nights clear; Svengoolie’s Halloween BOO-nanza features full-weekend programming that includes Halloween episodes of some of your favorite classic shows!

On Saturday, Oct. 5, you can grab a bowl of cereal and relive your youth with the special House of Svengoolie Cartoon BOO-Nanza, a one-hour Saturday morning dive into the creepiest Looney Tunes around, hosted by the Sven Squad: Svengoolie’s lovely assistant Gwengoolie, IMP and 800-year-old vampire Nostalgiaferatoo. It will be followed by a special presentation of eerie episodes of classic Westerns like The Rifleman!

And every Saturday night, after Svengoolie’s Saturday movies are through, don’t touch that dial — expect special overnight marathons of blood-curdling classics like The Twilight Zone and Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

On Sunday evenings, tune in for a lineup of creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky Halloween episodes of classic sitcoms like The Brady Bunch, The Andy Griffith Show, All in the Family, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, I Love Lucy and The Love Boat. And on top of this, get ready for special Halloween episodes of Collector’s Call and Toon in With Me!

So whether your October plans involve traveling the world in the form of a bat or just kicking back in your crypt with some popcorn and a chilled glass of blood, make sure to carve out time in your schedule for these lineups of eerie classics!
