Tune Into Svengoolie’s ‘BOO-Nanza’ This Weekend For Cartoons, Karloff & Classic Halloween Episodes

Starting at 7 a.m. ET on Saturday, October 5, Svengoolie will be kicking off his third annual Svengoolie’s Halloween BOO-nanza , a monthlong programming block on MeTV. Each week, Sven and the gang will be presenting creepy cartoons, specials, classic Halloween TV, and Saturday night horror double features — all with extra spooky flair. Get ready for sitcoms, scary movies, and everything in between, from now until Halloween!

Svengoolie’s very own Sven Squad – Gwengoolie, Nostalgiaferatoo and Imp – take over Saturday Morning Cartoons to present a collection of their favorite spooky-themed Looney Tunes cartoons including “Hair-raising Hare,” “Transylvania 6-5000″ and “Hyde and Hare.”

This double creep-ture kicks off with the 1939 Boris Karloff/Bela Lugosi  film where Dr. Frankenstein’s son (Basil Rathbone) meets a spooky blacksmith (Lugosi), who holds the body of the Monster (Karloff). And in 1957’s The Monster That Challenged the World.a giant evil mollusk is running amok in California, and only  Audrey Dalton and Tim Holt can stop it.
