‘Knots Landing’ Star Donna Mills Announces That She Will Be a Grandma Soon
Donna Mills, best known for her role as Abby on the Dallas spinoff Knots Landing, recently shared a very exciting personal update: her only daughter, Chloe Mills, is expecting her first child. Mills seems over the moon to be a grandmother, especially since she adopted Chloe when she was 54 years old.
Chloe and her fiancé Travis Collings are expecting a baby boy. They shared the news in a joint Instagram post that read, “Baby Boy Collings coming in 2025🤍”
Donna shared her own posts from the baby shower, full of blue balloons and teddy bears.

She said, alongside the photos, “My baby girl is having a baby!! And we gave her the shower of her dreams. Can’t wait to meet the little guy. I know I’ll love him as much as I love her.” While Chloe will be a younger mom, Donna has previously opened up about becoming a mother in her 50s.

She admitted that while she had a fulfilling acting career, she still felt like there was something missing from her life. This is what led her to adopt Chloe. She added that some people condemned the choice and thought she was too old, but Donna said that she never felt older than other moms.
“I took off 18 years,” she continued. “I didn’t work. Well, the first couple of years, I did work. I did some movies for television and stuff like that, because I could take her wherever I went. But then when she started school, I wasn’t going to go out of town for two months at a time. And I didn’t become a mother to give her to a nanny.”
