‘Micky Dolenz: Live at The Troubadour’ Album Available for Discounted Preorder
Micky Dolenz, the last surviving member of the Monkees, is still at it! Not only is he continuing to perform but he has been releasing new albums as well. Just last year, he released a new album of R.E.M covers after the success of his version of “Shiny Happy People.” He recently performed at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, California, with his show Micky Dolenz: Songs and Stories, mixing songs with fun stories from his long and fruitful career.
While Dolenz often sings his own songs and covers, he makes sure to pay tribute to the Monkees and performs songs such as “I’m a Believer” and “Last Train to Clarksville.” Now, Dolenz has another new album coming out, which is a live recording of his performance at The Troubadour, where he performed for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a cause that is near and dear to his heart.
He said, “The Troubadour is an incredible venue. Doug Weston introduced so many incredible acts there, and it’s an honor to perform at such a legendary place.” The album gives fans a chance to hear the performances if they weren’t able to head to a show, as it shares a mix of his songs and stories.
In addition to touring and releasing new albums, Dolenz recently released a new memoir titled I’m Told I Had a Good Time, chronicling his time with the Monkees as well as his time as a solo artist. He recounts stories from his time in Hollywood including interesting run-ins with other celebs.
Micky Dolenz: Live at The Troubadour is now available to preorder at a discounted price! There is a 20% presale discount for the first 72 hours. Click here to purchase the album, which will arrive on December 2, 2024.
