Paris Hilton, star of The Simple Life, musician, and animal advocate, has been one of the superstars during the LA fires, using her prominence to raise money for wildfire relief, as well as donating money herself, helping with pets who have been lost or displaced during the wildfires, and being a beacon of help others.

Paris, who lost her own Malibu home to the fires, posted on her Instagram account: “My heart is with everyone impacted by the devastating fires here in LA. While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more — their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability.”

Paris has raised over $800,000 through her non-profit, 11:11 Media Impact, for the Los Angeles Relief Fund, and she also donated money herself. As she told told Variety, “My goal is to help as many as I can as quickly as possible, which is why I’m making a $150,000 grant to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund, providing direct cash assistance. Hundreds of families will receive this assistance immediately, ensuring they can address their needs and begin to rebuild their lives today. My heart is with everyone affected by this devastating situation, and my team and I at 11:11 Media Impact will continue to show up.”

Hilton also continues to help with her advocacy for animals in LA’s time of need. She used her Instagram account, which has over 26 million followers, to find the owner of a lost cat who did not have a collar or a microchip, telling fans: “Hey everyone, I am here at Pasadena Humane Society, and today I am here with this cat. He has been here for four days so far and does not have a collar or microchip, so they don’t know who his owner is.”

Paris is a true Wonder Woman for all of Los Angeles.
