June 16-18 on Comet, beginning at 9amET

Comet, the over-the-air digital network devoted to sci-fi programming, leads off its first Comet Fest with a marathon of Stargate SG-1, then launches into the rest of the weekend by celebrating the Star Trek franchise’s fandom with the first four movies. This evening, Comet will air the feature films Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), followed by the network premiere of The Captains Close Up, a series in which William Shatner interviews other actors who have helmed the famed USS Enterprise on television shows that include Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks and more.
