After His New Movie’s Success, Adam Sandler is Heading Out on Tour
Adam Sandler is having a great year. Not only did his recent movies, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and Murder Mystery 2, do extremely well on Netflix, but he has now announced a new comedy tour. The tour, called “The I Missed You Tour” will begin in October and spread out until December (check out all the dates below).
Not only that but Sandler received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor earlier this year. The award is given to individuals who have had an impact on American society and is presented by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
If you’re unfamiliar with Sandler’s latest movie, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, it stars his two daughters, Sunny and Sadie. Sandler plays their father in the film while actress Idina Menzel plays their mother. Their real mom, Jackie appears briefly in the film as the mother of Lydia, Stacy’s (Sunny) best friend. Sandler has a relatively small role in the film centered around two young best friends, but he produced the film as well.
Sandler has produced and starred in several films for Netflix and so far, this one has seen the best ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. Let us know your thoughts if you’ve seen it! It is on my list to watch.
