New Kids on the Block Announce Nostalgic Tour with Special Guests
New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) band members Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood were truly living the dream in the ’80s and ’90s. One of the most well-known boy bands of all time, they racked up fans with their hits “Please Don’t Go Girl,” “I’ll Be Loving You Forever,” “Tonight,” and more. These same fans were devasted when they announced their breakup in 1994. Luckily, they have reunited several times over the years. Now, they just announced a new tour and it is dripping with nostalgia!

The tour, called The Magic Summer 2024 Tour, is a nod to their record-breaking tour back in 1990. The band is also reuniting with special guests DJ Jazzy Jeff and Paula Abdul, who previously performed with them on tour in 2017. Wahlberg opened up about the new tour and how they are focusing on nostalgia, “The true ‘magic’ of this tour is in the music, the moments and the memories that we get to create — and recreate — with our amazing fans each night. Feeling all the nostalgic feels of the original Magic Summer, with the bond that we’ve shared throughout the years, will make for a most magical time indeed.”

After announcing the new tour, the bandmates released a video featuring the members as their iconic dolls with a surprise cameo by Full House and Fuller House star Andrea Barber. That isn’t all! NKOTB is releasing a 15th-anniversary edition of their 2008 album called The Block on Nov. 3. It will feature a remix, bonus material as well as four previously unreleased songs.
