Rick Goldschmidt

Rick Goldschmidt is the official Historian/Biographer for Rankin/Bass Productions, the studio that brought you ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,’ ‘Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,’ ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Mad Monster Party.’ He has written six books on the team of Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass. He has also worked on countless projects and products based on their TV Specials and films. He has also written many magazine articles and assisted with many articles for Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, ReMIND Magazine, RetroFan Magazine and more. Rick is the lead singer and guitarist for his band The Starving Artists, and has recorded two albums in Tempe, Arizona with Multi Platinum artists, Gin Blossoms.
