The Emmys are a time to celebrate the latest and greatest in television. This year marked the 76th anniversary of the award show which was hosted by the father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy. Of course, we cannot celebrate the new without paying tribute to the nostalgic. Let’s take a look at some of the reunions and nostalgic stars that graced the event this year.
Meryl Streep
Meryl Streep wore a beautiful pink suit while attending the award show and reignited rumors of a romance with her Only Murders in the Building costar Martin Short.
Steve Martin & Martin Short
Speaking of Only Murders, the main cast including Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez appeared to present the first award of the night, for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Candice Bergen
Candice Bergen channeled her Murphy Brown persona at this year’s Emmys while presenting the award for Lead Actress in a Comedy.
Jean Smart
Jean Smart won the award for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Hacks. She is also known for appearing o the show Designing Women.
Billy Crystal
During the Emmys red carpet, Billy Crystal talked about his iconic rom-com When Harry Met Sally. He said he believed the main characters would still be together, enjoying retirement and their grandkids.
Catherine O'Hara
