July 2024 Hulu Classic Movies Streaming Guide
Everett Collection

Much like Netflix and Max, Hulu is loaded with a robust catalog of classic films from the past. And by past, we mean anything 20 years or older (Yes, it’s crazy to think that movies from 2004 are now seen as classics, but here we are!). From sci-fi essentials like Planet of the Apes and Alien to action-filled blockbusters like True Lies and Independence Day, Hulu offers a wide range of movies from yesteryear. So if you’re in the mood for a sci-fi teen fantasy of the ’80s like Weird Science, or perhaps a laugh-out-loud ’90s comedy like Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Hulu is the perfect streaming destination for those looking to satisfy a nostalgic itch. The following are some of our favorite flicks from the ’60s,’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and early aughts. But check back regularly — movies in Hulu’s library are always coming and going, so we plan to keep this handy dandy retro film guide updated on a monthly basis.
